About the Venue
Our Empire Rooftop is a 2,500-square-foot private event space on the 12th floor at 8 West 38th Street, directly above Jay Conference Empire. The rooftop combines Midtown convenience with clear skyline and Empire State Building views, creating a distinctive setting for corporate receptions, networking events, promotional programs and private gatherings. It accommodates up to 100 standing guests and includes several furnished seating areas, built-in bench seating, trees, planters, seasonal flowers and ambient string lighting. The design feels polished and complete while still leaving room for company branding, food stations and a customized guest flow. Access to the conference center in the same building also makes it practical to add an outdoor reception before or after an indoor meeting.
A built-in bar supports open-bar service, and hors d’oeuvres or full-service catering can be arranged through the venue. Two outdoor 4K televisions can display corporate branding or program content, while a Sonos sound system provides audio for presentations and background music. High-speed Wi-Fi and distributed power access help support event production, registration and vendor needs. Lounge furniture creates natural gathering areas without blocking circulation, and the rooftop’s central location is convenient to Bryant Park, Grand Central, Penn Station and several subway lines. Elevators, staffed support and access to Jay Conference Empire amenities simplify planning for hosts and guests. Our events team can coordinate the final seating, catering, beverage, branding and audio plan before arrival so the rooftop is prepared for the intended format.
